After three days of competitive basketball, the 2015 AAU Girls’ Basketball Super Showcases have concluded and the champions have been named! More than 100 teams made the trek to Orlando, Florida to compete against some of the best girls in the nation.
More than 20 different AAU districts were represented at the 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th Grade Super Showcases, including one club who travelled nearly 5,000 miles from Alaska. For the list of CHAMPIONS, see below. For FULL RESULTS, CLICK HERE.
This was the first event of many taking place at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex this month. The 9th – 12th grade National Championships are taking place now until the 13th of July, followed by the 8th grade National Championships from the 13th-17th.
The boys will have their chance in the ESPN Wide World of Sports gym from the 18th – 23rd for the 14U National Championships. The girls are back in action for the 2nd – 4th grade National Championships on July 24th – 26th. The boys come back for the 9U National Championships from the 24th – 28th and then both boys and girls will invade the gym for the AAU International Championship from the 27th – 30th!
