The AAU Gymnastics Age Group National Championships are headed to Orlando, Florida this summer from June 11th through 15th.

Lee Pamulak Middle School National Duals are a wrap for 2014. The tournament was held on April 12th and 13th in HyVee Hall in Des Moines, Iowa.

In ceremonies tonight at its national headquarters, the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) announced Penn State Football Guard, John Urschel, has been named the 84th Annual James E. Sullivan Award winner, which honors the nation's outstanding amateur athletes.

The AAU James E. Sullivan Memorial Award was established in the memory of Past President James E. Sullivan. It is a trophy awarded annually to the outstanding amateur athlete not only for his athletic accomplishments, but also for how well he exemplifies the amateur creed. The first award was in 1930.

Presidents’ Leadership Award 

Criteria: 

A Super P.A.C.E Award is presented to the District registering 1% or more of the its total population.

The PACE (President's Award Commending Excellence) is presented to those Districts who have shown consistency in high registrations. Each District registering 2/10 of 1% of its population will be presented with a PACE.

A Spirit Award is presented to the District that show the greatest initiative in promoting the AAU.

Award is computed by totaling number of:

1. Active Adult Sports offered by the District
2. Registered Adult Athletes
3. Sanctions
4. Championships

In the event of a tie, Active Adult Sports carries the greatest weight, followed by Registrations, Sanctions, then Championships.

Awards presented at the National Convention and District Meetings honoring the hardworking and dedication of our valued volunteers.

Award is computed by totaling the number of:

1. Active Youth Sports offered by the District
2. Registered Youth Athletes
3. Sanctions
4. Championships

In the event of a tie, Active Youth Sports carries the greatest weight, followed by Registrations, Sanctions, then Championships. Awards are presented to First, Second, and Third Place Winners.\
